Monit (Monitoring system and network)

Monit is a tool open source of monitoring of the local services installed on a machine Unix. It is distributed under license public License general GNU.

Monit enters the family of the software of monitoring, like Munin and Nagios. It can check the availability of a Demon and the resources occupied which it consumes, and according to the result choosing to leave it quiet, to start again it or to stop it.
