Monique Adolphe
Monique Adolphe , born the March 23rd 1932, is a scientist and enquiring a French in cellular Biologie.
After its boarding school of pharmacy to the Hospital of Paris, under the direction of Jean Cheymol at the end of the Years 1950, it decides to be directed into 1960 towards research in biology, and more particularly the cellular Culture, of which it will be a pionnière and diffuseuse in France. With Paul Lechat, it will be burning défenseuse alternative methods with the animal experimentation by promoting the use of methods in vitro , while recognizing their limits and the need for the studies on the organizations.
The main part of its career of enquiring will be devoted to the study of the Cartilage and biology of the Chondrocyte S, the cells which constitutes it. Director of studies of the Cellular laboratory of Pharmacology of the practical School of the high studies until 1997, Monique Adolphe is teaching who formed of tens of young scientists to the methods of the cellular cultures. She founds in 1986, the cellular Company of pharmaco-toxicology (SPTC).
From 1990 to 1994, it was the president of the practical École of the high studies.
