In the year 1983, an amusement park makes it possible to the visitors to be found at the time of their choice (Western, Roman or medieval), in the middle of almost human robots….The account follows two business men, interpreted by Richard Benjamin and James Brolin who chose to spend a few days in the Far-West old man. Incidentally, we follow also the adventures of a third amateur of western, interpreted by DIck Van Patten and of a couple, older, which chose the Middle Ages. Their stay will not proceed exactly as they hoped for it… Despite everything the precautions and safety measures, taken in this amusement park truer than natural.
Comment
In fact, the scenario follows the same diagram as Jurassic Park , also writes by Crichton.
Mondwest is the erroneous perfection of a fragile technology which hides actually a nightmare. All this ordered mechanics revolts against an invariable process which condemns these “beings systematically” to disappear.
This preamble announces the pleas Blade Runner and Artificial intelligence which is two lampoons on the right to life in the respect and the difference.
Unconsciously the robot killer wearied of an irremediably repeated sacrifice is avenged while distributing to human violence relentless which had largely time to be incubated in him.
The character of robot interpreted by Yul Brynner refers to that of Chris that it held in the Seven Mercenaries, wearing same clothing as him.
MONDWEST is the very first film cinema used synthesized images. Realized by Triple-I (it is about the handling of a catch of real sight intended to simulate the electronic point of view of the robot killer).
