The battle of Mondement in September 1914 is commemorated by a gigantic terminal designed by the architect Paul Religious bigot placed on an esplanade enters the small church and the castle (place of the engagements) this momunent out of tinted concrete of pink salmon is decorated with figures which had with the chisel of the sculptor Henri Bouchard Set up of 1931 to 1937, the inauguration of this monument took place in 1951.
