Moncton (Parish)
Moncton is a parish of the county of Westmorland, located at the south-east of the New Brunswick.

The parish is located in the valley of the Petitcodiac. It incut towns of Moncton and Dieppe. The remainder of the territory either not-built-in, or is belonged to DSL.
The following hamlets are found: Allison Station, Ammon, Berry Millets, Boundary Creek, Canaan, Wrap Breton, Catamount, Gallagher Ridge, Indian Mountain, Irishtown, Lakeville, Leblancville, Lutes Mountain, Lutesville, McQuade, Melanson Settlement, New Scotland, O' Neil, Pacific Junction, Painsec, Painsec Junction, Scotch Settlement, Shaw Brook, Steeves Mountain, and The Gorge.
The ground is flat close to Petitcodiac, but there is several Colline S and Crête S in north. One finds there enter others the Mount Steeves and the Mount Lute.
There is very many River. The main thing is the Petitcodiac and there are also the Canan, the Cocagne and the Bouctouche.
Many lakes and ponds, the principal ones are the lake Melanson Settlement, the tank Irishtown Road, the McLaughlin tank and the lake Jones. The last three are in the town of Moncton.
History
At the 18th century, Acadian come from Petitcoudiac and Chipoudy founded the village of Beausoleil, where now the hamlet of Boundary Creek is.

The parish is very well served, one finds there the International airport of Large Moncton, the Gare of Moncton, several stops of interurban Autobus and finally the highways 2 and 15.

According to the census of Statistical Canada, it there had 8743 inhabitants in 2001, compared to 8669 in 1996, that is to say a rise of 0,9%. The parish counts 3229 private residences, has a surface of 582,20 km ² and a Population density of 15,0 inhabitants to the km ².See too
