The brook Laxubie (11,3 km), affluent of the Saison, which is thrown in the Gave d' Oloron, crosses the commune.The brook Aiguette, the riu of Carrié (and its affluent the brook Serrot), which feeds the Lausset, other flow of the gave of Oloron, also sprinkle the commune.

Religious heritage
The Holy-Engrâce church dates from the XVIIe century and was taken again and restored with XVIIIe and XIXe centuries. It has a wall-belfry known as " trinitaire" or souletin i.e. the peak of the wall, bored bays where the bells tinkle, are completed there by three large points about equal height, appearing the Trinity.

Personalities related to the commune
- Bernard de Goyenetche says Matalas, priest of Moncayolle, took in 1661 the head of a revolt of peasants souletins against the increase in the royal taxes. It was stopped with Ordiarp and was decapitated.
