Damien Rice is an artist Irish born the December 7th 1973 in the suburbs of Dublin, with Celbridge.

Biography

Damien Rice began her career of musician as a singer of the group rock'n'roll Juniper, which left two individual. Whereas the group is about to record an album, Damien decides to leave it (the other members formed the group Bell X1) and leaves to furrow the Europe. When it returns in Ireland, it launches out in its first model solo.

In 2004 the song " The Blower' S Daughter" of its first album O is selected for the BO of the film Closer, between agreeing adults . After several years in concerts and recordings where the singer LISA Hannigan was omnipresent (second voices on certain songs, whole verses on others, even complete songs), LISA brutally disappears. March 25th, 2007, after several concerts carried out without it, the official site announces its official departure. The two musicians put a term at their industrial relationship without hope, a priori, to work over again a day together. Disappointment is large at the fans.

In June 2007, its title " 9 crimes" in the film Shrek the third is present.
