Monastery of Neamţ

The Monastère of Neamţ ( Mănăstirea Neamţ in Rumanian) is one of oldest and important religious constructions in Romania. It was built during the 14th century and constitutes an example of medieval Moldavian architecture.

Site

The monastery is located at the North-East of the Romania, in the Judeţ de Neamţ, to 10 km in the west of Târgu Neamţ. One can go there by car (Road DNN 15B) and by train (Railway station of Târgu Neamţ); the airport nearest is that of Suceava, located at 60km in north.
