Monastery of Benchen
The monastery of Benchen is a Buddhist temple of the area Kham with the Tibet. The monastery of Benchen is the seat of the Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoché S. It was founded by the 4th Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoché, Gelek Gyamtso. During the Cultural revolution, the principal monastery as well as the center of retirement of summer have every both summer destroyed. With beginning of the year 80 with the assistance of Chime Rinpoché, the monks of Benchen rebuilt center of retirement of summer (Yarnä Lhakhang). Since 1997, the hall is in rebuilding under the councils of the 10th Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoché and the 3rd Tenga Rinpoché.
