Monastery Mor Hananyo
The monastery Mor Hananyo (in Syriaque: Dayro d-Mor Hananyo , Mor Hananyo Dayro or Kurkmo Dayro , in Arab: Deir ez-Za `faran , in Turkish: Deyrulzafaran Manastırı ) is an orthodoxe monastery syriaque located close to the town of Mardin in Turkey.
History
Founded at the 5th century or 6th century, it was refondé in 793 like sits of évêché of Mardin.
Given up, it was founded third once in 1125.
It was the seat of the orthodoxe syriaque Church between 1293 and 1924.
