Monarch

A monarch is leading, representative or Head of State, which can be hereditary or elected (as in certain States the such old kingdom of Poland which used a system of election or current the Malaysia which operates an alternation between the hereditary monarchs of nine traditional States).

A nation or a State directed by a monarch is called a Monarchie . A system of government implying a monarch is a Monarchie.
