Biography

Its Romance first , Anywhere Drank Young stag , left in 1986, described the complicated relation of an young girl, Ann, and of his/her mother manipulator, Adele. Its character lives in the Wisconsin, just like Mona in his youth (it was born with Green Bay in 1957). Its second novel, The Lost Father (1992), preserves Ann for central figure. Moreover, his/her brother is not other than Steve Jobs, cofounder of Apple and Pixar, multi-millionaire in the Silicon Valley and given up by his parents with the birth, whereas they were young people and not yet married. Steve Jobs will have later a girl, LISA Brennan-Jobs, which he will refuse to recognize. Then he will recognize it later finally several years (one of the first computers of Apple will be called besides, the " Lisa")

Mona Simpson met his/her biological brother only once adult. The dedication of its first book Anywhere But Young stag is the following one: " To Joanne, our mother, and my brother Steve."
