Momotarō
Momotarō (桃太郎) is a Héros Japanese folklore. Its legend is particularly well-known with the Japan and in East Asia. This name means “ Tarō fishing”, i.e. “Garçon of fishing”, considering Tarō is a very popular Prénom of Japanese boy.

According to the version of the legend, going back from the Time to Edo, Momotarō came on Earth in a fishing which descended a river. He was discovered by an old woman who washed her linen there. This one adopted it and raised with her husband. Momotarō explains to them why it was sent by the skies to be their son.
However, Momotarō was lazy and found excuses not to work. When it decided to go to seek “a little” wood, it returned with an enormous tree. This drew to him the attention of the lord, which asked him to leave his/her parents to go to fight demons on the island of Onigashima.
In way, Momotarō meets a dog, a monkey and a pheasant with which it binds friendship. They will overcome the demons and their chief, Ura. It will turn over in his parents with his friends and the treasure of the demons. He and its family passed a pleasant life all together
Momotarō is associated with the town of Okayama, where the history would have been invented.
Song
The very popular song for children in Japan entitled Momotarō-san No ATU (the song of Momotarō) was published for the first time in 1911. Since, the song knew several different versions, of which this one:
