Molla Sadra Shirazi

Molla Sadra Shirazi is a Iranian Philosophe of obédiance Chiite born with Shiraz in 1571 and died in 1640. Raise Mir Damad and Mir Fendereski, it develops its great work, Asfar with Kahak, then sign philosophy with the madrasa of Shiraz. They is there that develops the school of Shiraz , continuatrice of the school of Ispahan .

The work of Sadra is a monumental synthesis of all the sources and Greek, Iranian and Islamic traditions. On the basis of the tradition aristotelician, falasifa (Farabi, Avicenne), it integrates the Eastern Sagesse of Sohrawardi and that of Ibn Arabi in its own philosophy which it names Hikmat Al-Muti' aliyyah .
