Molières 2007
The 21e ceremony of Molières was held Monday May 14th 2007 with the Théâtre of Paris, organized by Professional association and artistic of the theater (SOFT FOOD). It was presented as in 2006 by the TV host Karine the Merchant, under the presidency of honor of the actor and director Jacques Weber.
The ceremony was retransmise in first part of evening (20H50) on line of the Theater of Paris for a crenel of approximately 2:30 under the crook of the realizer Jerome Revon, a specialist in the event-driven emissions. The evening had like red wire the words of Sacha Guitry, at the time of the 50e birthday of its death, interpreted by the personalities invited to give the invaluable trophies: Claude Brasseur and his son Alexandre, Virginia Ledoyen and Arié Elmaleh, Gerard Desarthe, Charles Tordjman and Océane Mozas, an extract of a part of Jean-Luc Lagarce which would have been 50 years old, and a text of Fabrice Melquiot preaching “a theater in fight”…
Robert Hirsch, by receiving its trophy, deplored the absence of the Minister for the Culture, and other speakers, such as Roger Planchon, Marc Jolivet, Didier Bezace, the administrator of the Comédie-Française Muriel Mayette or even the president of the evening Jacques Weber, benefitted from their speech to deliver their fears on the place of art and the theater in the current political scene, and to affirm their attachment with the values which want to put “imagination at the capacity”. Referring thus directly to the recent electoral campaign and the capacity in place, their interventions accepted ovations of the room and the manifest reprobation of some like the director Jean-Luc Moreau or Patrick de Carolis, director of France Televisions…
To give rate/rhythm to the emission and to reiterate the good score of audience of 2006 (2,41 million televiewers, a record since 2001), the organizers made play extracts of spectacles on line, like Cabaret , the Outlaws , the insane one and true life of Luigi Prizzoti or the Joséphine of Jerome Savary.
