Molettism
Molletisme is a political attitude (reproached by its adversaries of left Guy Mollet) which very consists in having a political discourse " on the left " very radical, and a governmental practice moderated, center, accepting ideological and political compromises with the line.
This practice was disputed on the one hand by the left wing of the party, the Communistes, the Trotskystes and the left of the type P.S.U because it betrayed the ideological objectives by compromises or renouncements (on the social one, the Cold war, the Guerre of Algeria, alliances with De Gaulle in 1958 for example); and in addition, it is it also by the Second left and the centrists, because it maintains, from a theoretical point of view, the Socialisme in a Marxisme of Class struggle, misleading the militants on the real possibilities of Social transformations.
The debate on this attitude begins before even the exercise from the capacity by Guy Mollet (between 1956 and 1957). It is the object of the Congrès of Paris 1946 which opposes favorable Daniel Mayer, (with the support of Leon Blum) with an anticipation of the Programme of Bad Godesberg, with Guy Mollet which gains the congress over the idea of revolutionary rupture by the Class struggle.
