Mokotów

Mokotów is a district of Warsaw, the Capitale of the Poland. The district densément is densément populated. It is the seat of many embassies and alien companies. Only one small portion of the zone is slightly industrialized (Sluzewiec Przemyslowy), while broad zones are reserved for the parks and green areas.

Although the sector was populated at least since the Moyen-âge, it is only in 1916 that Mokotów was incorporated in Warsaw. The name probably comes from My Slope (in French), which would have become Mokotów at the 14th century. Most of the territory was urbanized between 1920 and 1930. Contrary to the remainder of Warsaw, the sector survived completely well the Second world war and the Insurrection of Warsaw.
