Moistened again
Remouillé is a common French, located in the department of the Loire-Atlantique and the area Pays of the Loire.
The origin of the name comes from remoulyum : “wet” in patois Poitevin-saintongeais, or parlanjhe alternative of former French. Its name into Breton modern is Ruvelieg .
The inhabitants of the commune name the Remouilléens and Remouilléennes .

Access and transport
Transport of formerly
The November 22nd 1903, was open a railway line active of the Sorinières to Vieillevigne (then Rocheservière starting from 1908). The French Compagnie of the Railroads to Narrow gauge railway had a 50 years concession to exploit the line. In 1935, because of competition of the car and the bus, the railway service was definitively stopped.
Today
The commune is crossed in the North-South direction by the secondary road 137 between Aigrefeuille-on-Maine and Saint-Hilaire-with-Loulay. Highway 83 (European 03) passes to the west of the commune. The line of bus 270 of the network Lila (network of the General advice of the Loire-Atlantique) passes has Remouillé. A Area rest (in each direction of circulation) is in the commune.

History
Neolithic era
One admits the presence of the man with Remouillé for the period of the Neolithic thanks to fragments and parts discovered in the commune.
Middle Ages
In the old cemetery which was located beside the church, one could observe tomb stones dating from the times mérovingienne and templier. Because of its frontier position between two Provinces (Poitou and Brittany), Remouillé had an important guardroom to perceive the taxes.Located at the border of the Steps of Brittany and the Poitou, Remouillé was starting from IXesiècle a parish poitevine belonging to the Marches Brittany-Poitou. Then following démentellement of this one, Remouillé became again poitevine.
XVIIIe century
In the Revolution, this “parish poitevine was incorporated by error in the new department of the Loire-Inférieure”. (Another parish, but located in the Mauges, Boissière-of-Gilded the, was also incorporated in the department of the Loire-Inférieure in 1790. Its parishioners, by negligence, having forgotten to send representatives to Paris to be attached to the Department of Maine-et-Loire).Moistened again was touched by the wars of the Vendée. In March 1793, the rebels gather and cut the access of the commune by blocking the bridge of the main road (today NR 137). September 15th, 1793, Jean-Baptiste Kléber dislodges of Moistened again four hundred Vendean and the " columns infernales" there twenty houses in set fire to 1794.
XIXe century
the duchess of Berry went to Nantes lasting the insurection Royaliste of 1832. Left the castles of Preuille with Saint-Hilaire-with-Loulay, it made halt with the castle of the Mortar (disappeared today), then crossed the river and remained one night with the hamlet of Ecomard. It found Légitimiste S with the hamlet of Fételière. Then it rejoined Montbert.

the economy of Moistened again is primarily based on the craft industry and the trade. To note, a company of stained glasses (creation, restoration, reproduction). One finds also various activities there related to agriculture. The mixed-farming, breedings (Bovine, ovine, porcine, poultry), vine growing (AOC " Muscadet wine " , " Large-seedling of the Nantais" Country;).

Jean-Pierre Garreau (1801-1896)
Nantes, Jean-Pierre Garreau was a contractor who builds his fortune in the urban development of Nantes. It in particular built there the Delaunay districts, Valleys, the meadow with the Dukes, the passage of Orleans. It will complete the construction of the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre of Nantes. Large traveller, it brought back the East of the still visible objects in various museums of the area. In love with Moistened again, it settled there in 1853 and became mayor about it. He could develop his talents of architect to with it by creating " the Garreau" madnesses; :- the vault Garreau (granite and slate)
- This vault-tomb is of romantic style. It shelters the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Garreau in " two Mounting S in oak, recouvèrtes of a white marble. A lion of Africa (statue) guard this invaluable dépôt" . Five rooms supplement the vault: the Garreau room, the room of the Abbot, the room of the Architect, the room of Evèques and the Museum of the vault.
