MoinMoin
MoinMoin is a Moteur of wiki implemented in Python. MoinMoin is based on the engine of wiki PikiPiki, and is under the public License general GNU.
This engine functions with files and repertories, rather than with a Database, which makes the contents very easy to handle with a text editor if need be, as for example to manage the revisions if the wiki is vandalisé. However, the use of simple files does not allow a Passage on the scale and limit the possibility of the software to exploit the relational nature of the databases (for example to obtain a prompt response with " which are the pages which lead to this page? "). A layer of abstraction of storage is currently under development, which will make it possible the administrator of the waiter to choose between a storage made up either of simple files or or laying out in addition to one database relational.
It is possible to create Plugin S and to extend MoinMoin via of Macros and the Actions. MoinMoin also uses the idea to separate the parsers (for example to analyze syntax wiki) and the formatteurs (for example to post HTML) with an interface with the sax between the two. That makes it possible for example to leave a document DocBook instead of HTML by writing only the formattor DocBook who implements the interface formatter , and all the parsers which use this interface will be automatically supported.
MoinMoin uses the bonds CamelCase by defect, but also supports the bonds non-CamelCases.
MoinMoin also supports the ACL which increase its utilisability in a Management system of contents.
“Moin Moin” is a popular formula of greeting in Friesian language, widespread in the north of the Germany, meaning “good day”.
