Mohammed Racim
Mohammed Racim (° 1896 - † 1975), is a Algerian painter , Miniaturiste, founder of the Algerian School of miniature.
Biography
Mohammed Racim was born in 1896 in the Casbah from Algiers. He studies his art at the school of the Art schools of Algiers then to the Cabinet of Drawing of the Academy. He leaves, then, to work with Paris, the department of the manuscripts of the National library. In 1917, it obtained a purse of the Casa of Velázquez to Madrid. At the time of this stay in Europe, he visits the Spain, the Andalusia and the England.
Its works will be exposed to Paris, the Musée Galliera, the Cairo, Rome, Vienna, Algiers, etc
