Mohammed Qacim Ferichta , Persan historian, born towards 1560 with Asterabad.
It early was fixed at Ahmednagar in the Dekkan. It occupied of the eminent stations at the court of Visapour, and published, under the title of Kétabi témam , a history of India in 12 pounds, which extends from 997 with 1620, and which was translated into English by John Briggs, London, 1829.
