Mohammed Dahlan
Mohammed Dahlan born in 1961 in the refugee camp of Khan Younis in Gaza east Palestinian politician.
He becomes chief of the youth movement of the Fatah ( Ash Shabiba ), which he contributes to set up in 1981. He is imprisoned 11 times by the Israélien S between 1981 and 1986, for his membership of the movement. He learns the Hebrew during his imprisonment and, once released, finishes his studies of management to the Islamic university of Gaza. He is also implied in the secret negotiations which led to the Accords of Oslo in 1993 and with the creation of the Palestinian Autorité. Dahlan returns to Gaza with Yasser Arafat in 1994, where it obtains the post of head of the Forces of Preventive Sécurité of the Gaza Strip.
In 2001, he criticizes the political lack of coherence of Arafat during the Intifada. In June 2002, it supports requests of reforms Palestinian Authority, and resigns of its post of head of safety after a dissension with Arafat. In April 2003, in spite of a strong opposition on behalf of Arafat, Mohammed Dahlan is chosen by Mahmoud Abbas, recently appointed Prime Minister, as minister of state for Safety but leaves its station at the time of the departure of Abbas. After the death of Yasser Arafat in November 2004, Mohammed Dahlan is named, on February 24th, 2005, at the post of minister of the Civil cases in the government composed by Palestinian the Prime Minister, Ahmed Qorei.
In the month of June 2007, per hour of the inter-Palestinian fratricidal combat, between Fatah and the Hamas, Mohammed Dahlan is taken refuge in Egypt from where it directs Palestinian preventive Safety.
The July 26th, following the conclusions of a commission which it itself had installation charged to inquire into the rout of its security services vis-a-vis Hamas in June 2007 in the Gaza Strip, it resigns of its station of advising with the national security of Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas by calling upon health issues. Indeed, during these engagements it was in Germany to be made operate of the two knees.
