Mohammed Al-Maghout

Mohammed Al-Maghout (rear RTL محمدالماغوط) was a poet and playwright Syria N. Born in 1934 with Hama, it died the April 3rd 2006 with Damas. Pioneer of modern Arab poetry, it renewed the traditional forms in texts where violence, despair and irony mix. Its life was marked by the prison and the exile in Lebanon, paid price for its savage independence.
