Mohammad Baqir Majlisi

Mohammad Bâqir Majlîsî is a theologist Persan died in 1700.

Typical representative of the Shiite Kalam, it organized official theology Shiite in a systematic way: a research department allowed to him to constitute a theological encyclopedia in 26 volumes, “the Ocean of the Lights” ( Bihâr Al-Anwâr ), the vastest amount of Hadith S of the Imam S of the Shiism duodécimain.

volume XIII is entirely devoted to XIIe Imam (see Imam hidden).
volume XXVI ( Kitab Al-Ijâzât ) is a comment of the Kâfi of Kolayni.

It also wrote works of history and religious construction which were additional amount quoted in Iran until our days.

Although it was a declared adversary of the soufis, its attitude with the hégard of the school of Ispahan (See Mir Damad, Molla Sadra Shirazi) is more understanding (conf. Henry Corbin, In Iranian Islam , vol. IV, p.20-22).
