Mohammad Ali Khan

Mohammad `Ali Khan Zand (approx. 1760 - 1779), was the second Shah of the Dynastie Zand. It reigned on the Perse empire of the March 6th 1779 with the June 19th 1779.

After the death of Karim Khan in 1779, Iran was still found without Master. The brother of Karim Khan, Zaki Khan declared Mohammad Ali, the second wire of Karim Khan like the second king of the Zand dynasty. A little later it made also Abol Fath Khan, another son of Karim Khan, his Co-monarch.

Mohammad `Ali Khan died of an heart attack the same year sui followed its ascencion on the throne, having reigned less than 5 months, the capacity was transferred to his/her brother Abol Fath.
