Mohamed Mghaieth , native of the town of Mahrès, is a chairman of state enterprises and politician Tunisia N.

Graduate of the French Polytechnic school, he becomes chairman of the chemical complex of SIAPE (current TSP) with Sfax then founder and chairman of the majority of the companies (MGA, DAP, YEAR, etc) which form part of the Tunisian chemical Groupe today.

He is in addition elected mayor of Mahrès in 1963.
