Mohamed Ghannouchi
Mohamed Ghannouchi (rear RTL محمدالغنوشي), born the August 18th 1941 with Sousse, is a politician Tunisia N. Second vice-president of the Constitutional Democratic Assembly (RCD), it is Prime Minister since the November 17th 1999.
After studies with the secondary college of Sousse, it obtains a license in political sciences and economic with the Université of Tunis. It is then allowed at the National school of administration of Tunis then carries out a training course with the French ministry of finances to Paris. It returns then to Tunisia and integrates the secretariat of State into the plan and the nation's economy where it occupies several stations.
The rise towards positions of responsibility related on the continuous economy and finances. In 1975, Ghannouchi is named director of general planning. The October 27th 1987, he becomes deputy secretary near the Prime Minister Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali in load of the plan.
After the Coup d'etat of the November 7th 1987, Ghannouchi is named the July 26th 1988 Minister for the plan, the April 11th 1989 Minister for the plan and finances, the March 3rd 1990 Minister for the economy and finances and the February 20th 1991 Minister for Finance. In 1992, he becomes Minister for the international cooperation and the outside investment and takes part on several occasions in negotiations with the financial institutions of which the the World Bank. It occupies this station until its nomination as a Prime Minister on November 17th, 1999.
It makes its entry at the political office of the RCD only in 2002. It is third in the protocolar order of the official ceremonies behind its predecessor Hamed Karoui, first vice-president of the party in power, and the president of the Republic
