Mohamed Améziane is resistant a Rif Ain whose action begins quite front Abdelkrim El Khattabi. It was born in 1889 in the province from Nador in north from Morocco. He studied way thorough the Coran and exerted in the magistrature as a judge of Chrââ. He fights against the Spanish colonialism.
He begins the resistance armed by destroying a railway line in construction intended to connect Melilla to the iron mines of Ouksen. The Spanish react in a battle to the place called “Diwana” which shows a rout and a Spanish defeat: more 3 000 soldiers are killed or wounded. This victory increases the popularity of Mohamed Améziane and more than 100 battles against the Spaniards are with are active.
Mohamed Amaziane was the first on the face in first line vis-a-vis the enemy colonialist. Deceased on the field of honor at the time of the Battle of Hamam, it is buried in its native area.
Its figure forms integral part of the Histoire of Morocco.
