Model 711
Model 711 indicates Mauser Modèle 1930. Just like for Schnellfeuer, known as being the Model 712, denomination 711 does not correspond to a reference of the company Mauser. It is the Stoeger company & Co., importer of Mauser in the USA, which will name it thus.
Model 1930 is distinguished from the others Mauser C96 by the adoption of safety known as " universelle". This weapon was first of all designed with a fixed store like Mauser C96 former ( Mauser 190 " Universel" type; ). The versions more recent adopt for the first time the removable chargers who will be used on Schnellfeuer (Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer) which is different from the Model 1930 by its capacity with the automatic shooting (gust).
Mauser model 1930 is confined in 7.63 Mauser. It seems that a special recessing in 8,15mm was carried out. This gauge did not exceed the stage of the experiments. This model does not seem to be confined in 9 mm Parabellum, contrary to Schnellfeuer.
