Mobile Ubuntu
Ubuntu Mobile ( and embedded ) is an operating system derived from Ubuntu for the mobile devices and embarked, such as the personal assistants and the cellphones.
With a first version designed to leave with Ubuntu 7.10, Ubuntu Mobile is an initiative supported by Intel and associated with other projects aiming at equipping the mobile devices with free software: Maemo (of which the functionalities will be transposed in Ubuntu Mobile), GMEI (Mobile GNOME and Embedded Initiative), THIS Linux or Embedded Linux.
