The Newspaper Mladá Fronta Dnes or in summary Dnes is a national Quotidien Czech.

The Mladá Fronta Dnes , whose title means Front of the youth of today , is the first national famous daily newspaper of Tchéquie, where the industry of the written press seems well to go with a daily pulling of some 2,5 million newspapers (for some 90 titles), almost all in Czech language. He is regarded as a center daily newspaper - preserving. With a pulling turning around 450.000 specimens, it precedes its main competitors: Právo ( the Right ), Lidové noviny, Svobodné Slovo ( the free Word ) and Práce ( Work ).

Like the majority of its fellow-members - on the eight Czech national daily newspapers drawing with more than 100.000 specimens, five are mainly with the hands of the foreign assets -, Dnes had to be sold to foreigners to find the financing to develop. It has, during a certain time, belonged to the press group French Socpresse, the group of Robert Harrowing, which resold its participation of 52% in the German press group Rheinische Post the November 11th 1994. At the same time, the German group took the control of other titles of the Czech press (Lidové noviny), as well as new printing works of Bohemia and Moravie.
