Miura (三浦市, Miura-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Kanagawa, with the Japan. The city was founded on January 1st 1955. Population of the east city of 50.530 inhabitants (2004) for a surface of 31,31 km ².

The city organizes a marathon each year (first week of March). The race is made up of three tests, the 5 km, the 10 km and a half-marathon. The course, which has many rises and descents, culminates to 72 m of altitude.

Miura is served by the trunk road 134.
