Mittainville

Mittainville is a common French, located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France.

Its inhabitants is called Mittainvillois.

Geography

The commune of Mittainville is with approximately 16 kilometers in the west of Rambouillet and with 11 kilometers in the east of Nogent-the-King, in western edge of the forest of Rambouillet and in limit of the department of Eure-et-Loir.

The territory is primarily rural (to 92%) and strongly wooded (approximately 50%) especially in its its Eastern half. It is irrigated by a small river, Maltorne, tributary of Right Bank of the the Eure.

The communes bordering are in south-east Hermeray, in the south Saint-Lucien, the west Senantes, the North-West Faverolles and north the Boissière-School.

The habitat is divided into several hamlets spread out along the river, of which Mittainville, where the church is, in north, the Lanes and Rough grazings, where the town hall is, more in the center of the commune, and the Valley more in the south.

The service road is ensured by the secondary road D 71 whose North-South directed layout follows the river roughly speaking and by the directed D 80 East-West which crosses the preceding one right in the north of the borough.
