Mitsuru Matsui
Mitsuru Matsui is a Cryptologue Japanese and researcher in Compagnie Électrique of Mitsubishi. At the time of studies on error correcting codes, Matsui discovers the linear Cryptanalyse. It is inspired for that by work by Adi Shamir and Eli Biham which had invented the Cryptanalyse differential three years before. These two techniques are most known to attack algorithms of symmetrical coding per blocks. In 1994, Matsui shows how a cryptanalyse on is technically realizable thanks to 12 computers which work during 50 days of at a stretch. Matsui is also the author of the methods of coding MISTY1 and MISTY2. It also contributed to coding the CAMELIA.
