The Mitsubishi 3000 WP is a sport scar left factory in 1992. It is equipped with 4 driving and direct wheels as well as powerful engine. Its marketing in Europe was difficult because of a strong competition and a weak brand image. It was declined in two versions: SSL and Twinturbo.
The first was equipped with a atmospheric V6 3.0 24s developing 225 ch DIN, the second, equipped with same V6 3.0 24s was boostée by two turbos low pressure Mitsubishi (2 X + 0.69 bar) developing 286 ch DIN. They reappeared both a few years later with a new more aggressive and purified design which was the phase two of this model. It gained a manual transmission with 6 reports/ratios like some options (lava-headlight,…). Then a phase three succeeded to him with there still some esthetic modifications. The 4 exits of exhausts give him a style sporting and pleasant to look at, as well as a sonority letting forecast what request V6. In spite of its weight (1760 kg) this car remains pleasant to lead, and the couple which proposes its engine against agreeably its light overweight. The interior completion is worthy of the name and the technological loading related to mechanics lets more think of a " plane of chasse" that with a car.
Mitsubishi 3000 WP is also known under the name of Dodge Stealth or Mitsubishi GTO.
