Mitry-Mory
Mitry-Mory is a common French, located in the North-West of the Seine-et-Marne in the area Île-de-France.
Its inhabitants is called Mitryens.
History
Under the Gallo-Roman era , the field of Mitry-Mory was occupied by two villages: " Mintriacum" and " Mauracum" , famous thereafter Mitry and Mory. The villages will be separate until 1839, official birth of Mitry-Mory.
The city will be increased after the First World War with the construction of two new districts: Mitry-le-Neuf and Acacias.
Geography
The city breaks up into three major districts:

Mitry Borough : Old village of Mitry, it is the church and the town hall there.
- the Acacias : It includes/understands the old village of Mory which was increased. One finds there in particular the station of '' Mitry - Claye '' and the college Honore de Balzac.
- Mitry-le-Neuf : District builds recently, it is located approximately at 2,5 km of Mitry Bourg. Is in this district the station '' Villeparisis - Mitry-le-Neuf '' and the city hall annex. It is crossed by the channel of Ourcq.
The common bordering to Mitry-Mory are: Villeparisis, Tremblay in France, Mesnil Amelot, Compans, Gressy, Messy and Claye Souilly. It is located at approximately 25 km in the North-East of Paris and very close to the Charles de Gaulle airport.

There exist several zones of activities in Mitry Mory:

the zone of activity of the Villette to the Alders where newspapers like are in particular printed the Team .
- the industrial park of Mitry-Compans accommodates companies like Darty or Liquid air.
Mitry-Mory is served by two stations of the RER B:
- '' Villeparisis - Mitry-le-Neuf '',

Tourist monuments and places
the church Saint Martin's day was built at the time of XVIe and XVIIe century, and increase with XVIIIe. The construction of sound organ , started in 1641, took 10 years. It was manufactured by the Louis factors and Jehan of Hermann, considered as most skilful of their time. It is classified " Monument historique" .
the castle of Wood-the-Viscount , in the South-east of the commune, which was built by the cardinal of Richelieu in 1630, and was destroyed in 1815.
