Michel Tacq , born the June 10th 1927 with Uccle (Belgium) and deceased in 1994, is a scenario writer Belgian draftsman, whose most known heroes are the Patrol of the Beavers.

Biography

Michel Tacq is born into 1927 from a mother who handles already the brush and the applied arts, and little boy, it crayonne already! He was scout with Pointed the Saint troop, close to Brussels, and was totémisé Toucan.

At 16 years, the things become serious when it starts to follow courses of draftsmanship to the " Chaplains of Travail" , and it draws some boards for the patronage of Farciennes.

Its first history, " Voyages of Tam-Tam" is drawn with 20.000 specimens thanks to a local editor, under the pseudonym Mitack, Michel is then 17 years old.

In 1954, after having made decoration and house painting, MiTacq wants to improve in band-drawn, and it thus follows courses of the Holy evening to the Academy Gilles.

MiTacq, scout convinced, draw for the editions scoutes " Full Jeu" and " Piste" , then he becomes truck driver of 1944 to 1949.

At this point in time it reads Tintin, the Illustrated Patriot,… and that it discovers Gillain (Jijé, in fact) and Sirius.

Inspired by scouting, MiTacq proposes the Patrol of the Beavers at Dupuis in 1948, but she will be refused…

But it finally accepts it in 1953 with " The mystery of Grosbois" , scenarized by Jean-Michel Charlier.

It is with the latter that it draws the adventures of Jacques Gall for Pilote.

His/her friend, the draftsman and illustrator Merry Rene, is also at his sides.

Then, MiTacq works for the magazine Spirou of 1968 to 1979; with scenarios of Jacques Stoquart, Beckers, Andre-Paul Duchâteau and Maurice Tillieux, it creates Stany Derval, one journalist-to defer.

Impressed initially by Hergé and Joubert, MiTacq likes also Gillain, Giraud, Hermann and the Spaniards of Fuente, Gimenez, Marotto, Blasco.
