Missoula

Missoula is a city located in the Comté of Missoula (of which it is the seat), in the American state of the Montana. It had 57.053 inhabitants in 2000 and the population of its agglomeration is estimated at more than 100 00 inhabitants, it is thus the second city of the state (for its population). It is also a stage along the I-90 connecting Boston to Seattle.

Geography

Located in the West of the state, in the valley Bitterroot, this city is to 975 m of altitude, and is surrounded by mountains, of which some reach almost 3000 m (McDonnald peak).
