Miss France

Miss France is a beauty contest annual, diffused on television and organized by the company “Miss France, Miss Europe, Miss Universe”, chaired by Genevieve Mulmann known as “of Fontenay”, and which holds the mark “Miss France”.

The Soirée of election of Miss France is diffused on television since 1987, initially on FR3 then on France 3 - presented by Julien Lepers - and, as from 1995, on TF1 - presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault. Since 2005 the election is produced by Endemol, which repurchased the rights of Miss France .

History of Miss France

The expression “Miss France” was born in the trenches from the Sum in 1914. Legal battles

By stop of December 6th, 1972, Geneviève de Fontenay was condemned to 100 francs of fine and damages for slandering.
