Miss Bellerose
Nicole Gassot , known as Miss Bellerose , is a French actress born in 1605 and died in 1679. Married in second weddings with Pierre Messier, said Bellerose, it enters to the Hôtel of Burgundy in 1638 and takes its retirement in 1660. Between these two dates, she is regarded as the most admired main actor and Hotel of Burgundy.
In 1635, Isaac de Benserade writes for it its tragedy Cléopâtre . Among the roles which it created for the parts of Pierre Corneille, let us quote those of Camille in Horace (1639), of Emilie in Cinna (1639) and of Cléopâtre in Rodogune (1644).
