Miskolc
Miskolc (pronunciation: míchkoltz) is a city of the North-East of Hungary, with last strongly related to heavy industries. It is the third town of Hungary after Budapest and Debrecen. Miskolc is the capital of the county Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and centers it north-eastern area. It counted 175 701 inhabitants in 2005.

Miskolc is located at. The city occupies a central point between various geographical areas: in the east of the solid mass of the Bükk, in the valley Sajó, Hejő and Szinva. It occupies an entire surface of 236,68 km ². The declivity is progressive, the difference in level between the point highest and the point low is of approximately 800 meters.
