the Misadventures of Charlot ( Triple Disturbs ) is an American film carried out by Charles Chaplin and Leo White, left the August 11th 1918.

Synopsis

In the house of an inventor working on an explosive weapon, an odd-job man comes to be engaged. The man is awkward. Its boxed pay, it from there will be slept in a hearth of vagrants.

Comment

Short-measuring leaves whereas Charles Chaplin left Essanay since 1916. It is strictly speaking not a film which it carried out. It is about an assembly by this company of sequences of two films of which it had the rights: Charlot apprentice ( Work ) and Charlot burglar ( Police force! ) - it will be noted besides that to give the exchange, the images are reversed and that Charlot and the burglar tightens the left hand thus. It also integrates some original scenes. The unit inevitably releases an impression of patchwork that the English title, " Trouble" triple; that is to say " triple avatars" , since composed of three sequences, manages with difficulty to justify.
