Mirza Husayn Ali Nuri

Born with Teheran, in Iran, 1817 and deceased in 1892, Mirza Husayn Ali Nuri , called Bahá' u' lláh بهاءالله|baha-o-llah: “glory of God” at the origin of the religion Baha' I E is which is presented in the form of a last in date of a long line of revelations through outstanding teachers: Krishna, Abraham, Brace, Buddha, Jesus, Mahomet, Confucius, Lao-Tseu, Guru Nainak. He proclaimed the nearest unification of humanity and the emergence of a world civilization.

Disciple of the Báb, his doctrines was influenced by the Babisme.

Its family

He belongs to a fortunate big family of the Aristocratie Persian, owner of vast domains, whose origins go back to the reigning dynasties of old the imperial Perse. His/her mother was called Khadíjih Khánum and his/her father Mírzá Buzurg who was used the vizier for Imám - Virdi Mírzá. Mírzá Buzurg was appointed governor of Burujird and Lorestan thereafter. After the death of his father, the new vizier Haji Mirza Aqasi asked Bahá' u' lláh to take a governmental function which he refused.

Its exiles and its martyrdom

Its situation of privileged will not resist the blow of glare which it causes by announcing its support for the message of the Báb. Carried by the wave of violence started against the Bábís the shortly after the execution of Báb, Bahá' u' lláh sees not only all its confiscated goods but undergoes moreover the Prison, the Torture and a whole series of Exil S. the first exile leads it to Baghdad where, in 1863, it declares being that whose Báb had promised the advent. From Baghdad, it is sent in Istanbul, then with Edirne, to arrive finally captive, in 1868, with Acre, in the Wilaya of Damas (today in Israel).

It exhorts there moreover the kings, the emperors and the presidents of the XIXe century to reconcile their disagreements, to reduce their armaments, and to devote their energies to found the universal Paix.

Bahá' u' lláh dies in Bahji in 1892, just in the north of Acre, where its skin rests today, while its lesson starts to be propagated out of the borders of the Middle East. From now on, its tomb is the convergence point of the world community bahá' íe generated by its message.

His/her son Abbas Abd Al-Baha' takes again his thought until his death with Haïfa (1921).
