Mirwais Stass

Mirwais or Mirwais Stass (born Mirwais Ahmadzaï the October 23rd 1960 with Lausanne, Swiss) of an Italian mother and an Afghan father was the guitarist and type-setter of the Parisian group Taxi Girl of 1978 to 1986.

Biography

It continued in Paris a career solo and of producer after the end of the group. It founded the duet " Juliette and Independants" , without much success. It obtains a critical and popular dedication international with the success of the album " Production" as well as individual " Naive Song" (2000). This album is the result of the sound " mirwais" and of its musical vision combining culture rock'n'roll, new-wave, disco music and synthetic experimentation. It in particular produced several groups and singers (its) in the Années 1980 for Mankin Record, a label created by Taxi Girl. More recently, it produced the last albums of Madonna (which discovered her models via Stephan Sednaoui), which was worth a rapid to him growth of notoriety in the world.
