Gian Marco Enrico Miroglio , (known as MIRO , also known under the pseudonym of Jean Marc Miro ) is a French singer of Italian origin.

Biography

Born in 1968 from a mother airline hostess and a father whom he did not know, Gian Marco Miroglio grows between the Tunisia, the Italy and the Germany before arriving to France at the 17 years age. While he saw various jobs and sings in the subway, he writes and composes his French and English songs and starts to assemble his own home-studio. He starts his career in 1998, in particular thanks to his collaboration on the title " Hasta the Vista " of MC Solaar.

Its first album " the voice of the good-for-nothing " leaves in 2001 at Columbia, label of major Sony-BMG, and is worth to him to receive the price Felix Leclerc of the French song in Quebec for the title éponyme. Miro is then discovered médiatiquement with the humorous clip " Billy the funkyman" where he plays various characters with various voices. Its image since is characterized by a drawing of Delphine Courtois.

After a round of more than 150 dates only on scene with its pedals and its " Mister High Book ", it leaves its second album " In full flight " in 2003, followed by a round in group, then, in February 2007 its third album " the jealous winner " , with inter alia the participation of Charlélie Seams and of the Italian group East Rodeo.

For this last album, Miro tries out a new form of marketing. Indeed, one buys the disc called " face winner " , the " jealous face " being then available free on its official site.
