Mireille Chrisostome

Heroin of the Resistance, killed to 20 years by German with the Hermitage-Lorge.

Mireille Chrisostome was a " convoyeuse" , liaison officer, in the maquis of the Coasts of North during the second world war. Its code name was " jacotte" , it was stopped on July 11th, 1944 at the time of a connection between the departmental management of Front National and the State Major FFI. Its corpse, atrociously mutilated, was found hidden in the Forêt of Lorge. (in " books of resistance populaire" , book N° 2 - May 1995, published by the Committee for the study of Popular resistance in the Coasts of North).

To honor its memory, a street of the center town of Saint-Brieuc bears its name. The museum of art and history is in particular located there.
