Mirandela
Mirandela is a municipality (in Portuguese: concelho or município ) of the Portugal, located in the District of Bragance and the Northern area.
Geography
Mirandela is bordering:- in north, of Vinhais,
- in the east, of Macedo de Cavaleiros,
- in the south, of Villa Flor and Carrazeda de Ansiães,
- in the west, of Murça and Valpaços.
History
Mirandela was seen recognizing the statute of municipality by a charter granted by the king Alphonse III the May 25th 1250. In addition, the statute of city was recognized in Mirandela the June 28th 1984.
