Minucius Felix
Marcus Minucius Felix is a Latin writer Christian 2nd or 3rd century.
Originating in North Africa, it converts with the Christianisme at the end of its life.
He is the author of lOctavius , dialog philosophical in which he shows that the Christian faith can be reconciled with the traditional culture, in particular with the Philosophie: the large philosophers were the precursors of the Christian doctrines and approached the truth without reaching that point fully.
This work does not mention the name of the Christ but is unquestionably Christian. It is a text of high literary and philosophical, but not very original behavior on the dogmatic level. Minucius Felix is arranged among the Pères of the Church.
L Octavius will inspire, of the centuries later, a similar step of Louis Laneau, bishop of the Company of the Foreign missions of Paris and author of a Rencontre with a Wise Buddhist where Christianity is presented, on the same implicit mode, like true wisdom - in the categories of the Bouddhisme.
