Mint
The mints are a kind ( Mentha ) of herbaceous plants long-lived of the family of the Lamiacées (Labiées), subfamily of the Nepetoïdeae , tribe of the Menthae , including/understanding many species S, of which much are cultivated like aromatic and condiment plants, decorative or medicinal.
Etymology: “mint” comes from the Latin mentha , derived from the Greek μίνθη/ mínthê or μίνθα/ míntha , of the name of Minthé, a nymph that Perséphone metamorphosed in this plant.

Use

Mint is also used usually to aromatize Glace S, Sorbet S and Confiserie S: Candy S, Chocolate S (), Melting S, Chewing-gum S, Pastille S with strong mint, etc It is frequently associated with the Réglisse.
Because of its refreshing effect, mint is also used to aromatize the Dentifrice S and the lotions for bath of mouth.
