Minot (in English) is the fourth plus big city of the North Dakota, with the the United States, with: 36567 inhabitants. The city is located in the north-center of the State, to 170 km in the north of the capital of the State, Bismarck (). It is the seat of the county of Ward.

Minot is called Magic City.

The base of the United States Air Force of Minot Air Force Bases is located at about fifteen kilometers of the city.
